My twin sister & I have vivid memories of seeing a TV programme in the early to mid 1970s with Tony Robinson as the main character. We definitely remember him singing the song that goes, "Hey, Hey, Skip to ma loo..." which may have been sung in each episode? Our mother has no recollection of the programme at all & we've never found any of our friends remember it either. Have tried Tony Robinson's imdb page, but unless it was part of "Little Big Time", which was about the right era, no further clues there. My sister has just found some links to a "Words & Pictures" (BBC Educational series) segment from that era called "Sam on Boffs' Island" which sounds promising. Anyone able to confirm whether that was it?
Do You Remember 'Tony Robinson singing "Skip to ma loo" - is it "Sam on Boffs' Island?"?
