ALF

A family sci-fi comedy from 1986 starring ALF, a small furry alien from the planet Melmac. ALF (Alien Life Form) turns up one day out of the blue after crash-landing his spaceship into the Tanner family's garage.

Although ALF misses his home planet he enjoys being on Earth and stays with the family for throughout the series which ran from 1986 until 1990.

    I've got all the videos - all four of them. In the days before dvds. And yes I've even got a fluffy ALF - though the doctor is treating it :) A bit of trivia. The voice of ALF was the producer of the programme!

    ALF ruled!Why no re-runs on satelite t.v. for the life form known on his own planet as Gordan Schumway?I remember my house being covered in alf stickers.I only wish i could remember the name of Willie Tanners' polka loving neighbours.

    alf was just the coolest laid back alien i ever saw!!! he came from planet melmac and was brown and furry. my partner had a car seat cover that looked just like him so we named it alf!

    One of the best shows on TV!! I just remember laughing so hard I was almost crying! It should be in repeats at all time! Wish it was!!

    Ah yes, the Alien Life Form with a good sideline in noo-yoik wisecracks. They made a comeback TV movie later on in the mid 90s, with him being held in a Roswell-type airbase. Rubbish. Not a patch on the TV series..
