Americo Bar (vanished without trace)

I haven't found anyone who remembers from the late 1950s a confectionery known as an Americo Bar. I used to buy one quite often in Harrow at a small sweet shop. It was a chocolate covered bar which had nougat inside and possibly nuts but no wafer or biscuit. It wasn't to my knowledge made by the leading makers of the time Rowntree, Frys, Cadbury etc. The year would have been approximately 1959/60. Does anyone else remember it?

I'm 77 now and remember the Americo bar fondly from many years ago. Glad others recall it as I sometimes wondered if my memory was playing tricks on me! Unfortunately I'm struggling to picture it now and have no idea who manufactured it.

I remember it. I live in Holland. End 50’s / begin 60’s. I loved it ! Choco bar with a white filling with little fruity things in it, and caramel. Don’t know from which country it came….
