Set in the 1930s, Annie is a musical based on the life of red-headed Annie who lives in a miserable orphanage.

Somehow she ends up staying for a while in a wonderful mansion and charms the owner into helping her locate her long lost parents.

    This movie was one of my faves as a kid but the remake is terrible.

    I love this film! I used to long to be stuck in a huge house with lots of other girls and wearing skanky clothes, washing stairs and singing! Kinda strange huh?

    I watched this movie all the time when I was 9 and 10. I would even play "Little Orphan Annie" when I'd be waiting for my Dad to finish barbecuing.

    I was so obsessed with this movie as a child that I had the Annie doll and I wore the Annie dress to my first day of kindergarten..I guess I liked the Annie movie

    One of my favourite films, Aileen Quinn,Albert Finny,Carol Burnette. Plenty of singing & dancing & a nice happy ending.
