Beats International was the first outing for the prolific Norman Cook following his days playing bass in The Housemartins. The album "Let Them Eat Bingo" is a lost treat, well worth tracking down if only for the seeds of ideas later to grow into Norman's other projects (Pizzaman, Freak Power, Mighty Dubcatz and, of course, Fatboy Slim).
The lead track from the album was undoubtably "Dub Be Good To Me" featuring the vox of ex-Grange Hill star Lindy Layton, a tune that basically spliced "Just Be Good To Me" by The SOS Band and "Guns of Brixton" by The Clash to great effect.
