Biba Make-Up

it was never as revered as the fashion range, but Biba's make-up range became highly fashionable in the 70s, and because Dorothy Perkins had bought into the company due to financial troubles, you could get the make-up from there. Ever the groundbreaker, Biba was the first ever UK store to let customers try out make-up before buying it - thank you Biba! It meant a lot of women would come to the store au natural before work, give themselves a swift in-store makeover and then rush to work.

Fantastic range. I had the paintbox of eye shadows. I so wish I'd kept it! I liked the yellow tones to the foundation..and deep red lipsticks...and black and gold packaging...Nothing else like it then.

I used to wear Yellow 2 shade. It was exceedingly yellow, but great and I loved the little black pot it came in. Probably look hideous now but I thought I looked gorgeous!!
