This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Bill and Penelope was a school programme that we used to watch when I was about 6 in 1973. I think it was an educational programme because I remember watching it on a telly on a tall stand in the classroom at about 10.00am.

    Yes I know who you are talking about, I too was about six when I remember this, It was called It's Fun to Read and the characters were indeed Bill and Penelope, I can remember it vividly as the male character bore a strong resemblance to Tristram from George and Mildred, it was set in a playground and, a bit like Look and Read, the words lit up as they were read out, A lovely show and I saw an episode of this about a year ago.
