Bovril crisps were fab. My grandma used to buy us Bovril flavour crisps. I think they came in a white bag and tasted very, very beefy!

Yes, I saw Counters on display in a shop I visited recently and couldn't believe my eyes! I haven't bought any yet, but that will soon change!
As for Walkers "bringing back" Bovril crisps, I don't think it was them that made them. It might have been KP or Smiths, or something like that. Whatever the case, they need to make a comeback, and with Walkers being brand leader, they'd be the most likely to do so, though I fear they'd be just a "limited edition", like so many of the yumcious varieties that have disappeared as soon as they've arrived. Walkers, if you're reading, where are my barbecue chicken crisps? I've still got withdrawals!

Please people take 5 mins out of you day and just send a quick email to walkers asking them to bring Bovril back. I already have and they won't bring them back unless we ask. I also wrote to Galaxy asking them to bring back galaxy counters 2 years ago, and lo and behold they were brought back a few weeks ago.........and they are just as delicious and addictive!!

bovril crisp were made by smiths crisps i absolutley loved smiths crisps walkers have taken over the salt and shake also the square crisps they are horrible now :(

hi I totally agree, smiths bovril crisps and even marks & spencers beef and onion used to good, nothing compares to the bovril ones tho.

Couldn't put it better myself Marks! I used to eat 6 packets of bovril EVERY day. I'm sure I was suffering wirhdrawel symptoms when they stopped making them as I was so upset and irritable for weeks. I wrote to walkers a couple of years ago asking them to bring them back and they replied telling me to try Marmite......nothing like them!!! I miss them so much.

I miss these dreadfully. No other beef-flavoured crisp comes close. Walkers, if you're reading this (since you're Britain's leading crisp manufacturer) - please add Bovril flavour to your range! And while you're at it, get rid of those dreadful new BBQ Rib and Steak & Onion flavours and bring back your original Beef & Onion and Barbecue, which were far better!
