Bryan Ferry was born 26 September 1945 in Washington (near Newcastle Upon Tyne) and is famed as a singer / songwriter and occassional actor famed for his suave visual and vocal style. He came to public prominence in the 1970s as lead vocalist and principal songwriter with Roxy Music songs such as 'Virginia Plain', 'Dance Away' and 'Love Is The Drug'. He is also known for his solo career, including the songs 'Let's Stick Together (Let's Work Together)' and 'Slave To Love'.
