They came in a similar packet to the standard chocolate buttons, but the bag was red. They were chocolate buttons but with a bit of soft toffee in the centre. Basically, a 'Curly Wurly drop'. Rolf Harris used to advertise them. He'd balance one Cadbury's Toffee Button on each finger of one hand and eat them off while panting as in the 'Great Big Dog' song. Cadbury's Toffee Buttons were around in the late-60s and early 70s.
