Cascade

Cascade was an obstacle course for ball bearings made in the early 70s by Matcbox. In the game there were three mini trampolines to line up and a hole range to put at one end. Each hole representing different points. The most exciting bit was the battery operated clear perspex spiral tube that the ball bearing travelled up when you pressed the button. When the ball released it fell down and bounced off the trampoline. It was very clever and well designed because those balls never strayed! It involved ball bearings going up a battery operated (noisy) corkscrew tower to be released at the top and then drop onto and bounce across three bongo type small drums into a catcher and start all over again. It was nuts but I loved it and it drove our dog crazy.
