    I loved Charlie way back then..."Kinda young kinda wow Charlie...". Great commercials! I still love it's fragrance.

    My first "grown up" perfume - loved it. Don't remember different versions - maybe there was just the original scent then @ 1979? Really thought I was the 'modern woman' just like those TV ads - even at 13!

    I was bought Charlie perfume and it came with a white fluffy monkey. Perfume made me feel so grown up and the monkey was really cute in fact my best bed mate in my early teens

      I have my mums monkey he looks a bit worse for wear now though and not so fluffy. Cannot find another like it!

    Erm...It wasn't the same bottle of perfume I smelt recently mad I add as that would probably smell quite rancid 15 years on...it was in a department store!!

    I got a bottle of Charlie Red for my 16th birthday and when I smelt it recently, it really took me back to the good old days!!!

    oh i adored Charlie. I remember buying a huge bottle and wore it constantly. I also loved the advert with Shelley Hack which u can find on u tube. 'Here's a fragrence thats her to say and they call it ,Charlie! '
