Charmkins

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Charmkins were cute little plasic figures, with a loop on their heads so they could be attatched to hair slides, earings, necklaces, button-clips etc.

Most of these were just a couple of centimetres high and in the USA and Canada they were scented, but in the UK they weren't :(.

Oh my god I just found a ton of these by Googling them - I had the flowery Windmill that had little hooks you could attach them to.

I know how you feel, Fiona. I had Buttercup the dog, but my mother always made me walk to the store, and one day i lost him on the way home. I was so sad I cried. I actually have the little parrot right now, as I found it at a market. I love that little thing, and I hope to find the little dog again.

oh my gosh! I am such a baby. I had forgot all about these. I didn't have a lot, but it brought a tear to my eye reliving the memories of having such wonderful toys from the 80's

I had the cowboy charmkin on the rocking horse but one day I lost the little horse on the school field and was absolutely gutted, I looked accusingly at everyone and muttered to my friend 'well if you found it, you would keep it wouldn't you?'
