Cher has been knocking out hits since the 60's - firstly with her then husband Sonny Bono famously with "I Got You Babe" - and then as a solo artist. As a couple they had their own TV show, "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" and Cher has also appeared in a few films including "Mask" and "Moonstruck".

Cher has successfully changed her music to fit in with the passing decades and had a hit with her 'poppy' CD "Believe" in the 90's.

I'm sure she will always be well known as the artist whose outfits are 'barely there'!

    Never forgave Sonny Bono for defecting to the American Right and aligning himself with Newt Gingrich. The video for 'If I could Turn Back Time' was ridiculous, it was filmed on the deck of the veteran US battleship UUS Missouri. Cher had her bratpack teenage son backing her on guitar, he looked absurd in oversized dungarees!!

    What can I say,I'm not gay but I love cher! I've been a big fan since I was a young boy. Here is a great fact: Cher has had a billboard top 10 hit in five consecutive decade.
