This Canadian high school drama series was first shown in 1987 and followed the lives of a group of teenage students including Bryant Lister 'BLT' Thomas, Archie 'Snake' Simpson, Claude Tanner, Scooter Webster and a whole load of others.

It was a follow on from the successful Kids of Degrassi Street and later in the series all the students graduated from junior high and the show became just Degrassi High.

    I vaguley remember watching this in about 1988, I seem to remember one of the first episodes featured a teenage girl who was pregnant or had sex or something...all very adult issues for a 10-year old!!!

    The best kids programme ever, with the best theme tune. It was almost like a Canadian Grange Hill, only grittier and with no characters called ROWWW - LAND!!

    I loved Joey Jeremiah & his chopper bike! No one I talk to ever remembers this program but it was ace!

    i loved this program, i used fancy a girl called caitlin in the show. i remember one guy in it called joey jeremiah and he was one cool dude!! great show

    I use to actually look forward to Mondays because that's when this show would be on. I actually enjoyed it so much in my early adolescent years that I bought one of the dvds! Yick and Arthur were quite the duo. But has anybody noticed that shortly after the Christmas break, the kids would be wearing tee-shirts, but around their final exams they'd be wearing parkas and scarves?!

    i used to think i was so cool, watching this - no-one else i knew did! the main girl used to get changed into her 'cool' clothes on the way to school so her mum wouldnt see, and there was an episode where she went for class president (sooo american - i was jealous!) was on bbc 1 i think, about 430??
