Doogie Howser, M.D.

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Doogie Howser was a child genius who worked as a Dr in a hospital in the States. The programme used to be on TV on a Sunday afternoon / evening I think as I remember sitting round watching it after dinner with my family.

The series ran from 1989 to 1993 and starred Neil Patrick Harris as Doogie Howser. It started on Doogie's 16th birthday, which was also the real age of the actor.

I remember the smart-*rsed little swine turning up on 'Starship Toopers' as the psychic one with the vaguely nazi uniform.

yep, remember this one, i like the original post says used to sit down with mum watching it on a Sunday I am sure. I got a feeling it was more evening than daytime though, but i am not sure.

Programme about a kid who was a genius and became a Doctor at the age of 12 or something..??? American TV show...very cool...
