Electric Trucking Slot Cars were essentially like Scalextric. There were all sorts of different slot cars available, but the Truck variety was a popular option for boy's obsessed with the open road. As you might imagine, the set was particularly successful with the American Toy market, as kids wanted a red pick-up just like Daddy's. They'd then cover the trucks in stickers so you didn't get yours mixed up with the kid down the road's.
