Empty Nest was a TV show about a widowed pediatrician called Harry Weston and his two grown up daughters, Barbara and Carol. Kristy McNichol played the younger daughter and Dina Manoff played the older daughter.
The show was set in Miami and followed the lives of the three Westons. The humour in the show usually came from the two girls trying to find their perfect partner and 'leave the nest'.
Sid Melton and Estelle Getty from The Golden Girls also appeared in Empty Nest.
