Starring Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer, this film tells the story of a guy from the city moving to a small town in the country where music and dancing is against the law. He then proceeds to try and change the law, ands gets into trouble along the way.

    One of a type of film popular at the time, the others being Flashdance & Dirty Dancing - did Fame start the trend ? Kenny Loggins has been quiet since ( apart from Dangerzone )..

    oh my god how gorgeus was kevin bacon in this film.what a great chick flick that i still love now and my poor teenage daughter has to love as much as i do.great movie,great soundtrack, sexy kevin bacon what more could you want.lets her it for the boy.WELLARD x
