Foreigner's self-titled debut album sold over 1 million copies in America and stayed in the top twenty for A YEAR! In the UK they released 13 singles including the No.1 - 'I Want To Know What Love Is' (no school disco was complete without a snog at the end!) and 'Waiting For A Girl Like You' - which got to number 8.
Foreigner's 1978 (and later 1985) single 'Cold As Ice' was sampled on the M.O.P hit of the same name and reached No.4. The Foreigner version has the distinction of being on of the best songs EVER (at least, in my opinion!)
