This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Fright Night was a vampire film about a young lad who has a vampire move in next door to him. His friend, Evil Ed ends up becoming a werewolf and his girlfriend ends up a vampire. It is a really good film. I recommend it to anyone who likes 80's horror.

    Yeah, I remember that one, it came out in '85 just after I left school. It was meant to be a comedy, though the special effects of the girl after she's become a vampire were actually quite scary- she didn't just grow long teeth, her whole face changes so she ends up looking like some freaky alien monster! I remember there were warnings in reviews at the time that it had some quite nasty prosthetic effects in it- I believe the film has recently been remade, though probably not as well as the original.
