Heidi

Heidi was a film about an orphan girl (Heidi) in Switzerland who is made to go and live with her grandad in the mountains. At first Heidi doesn't feel happy with her new life but soon comes round after befriending Peter the goat herder and Clara from the big house.

I think I remember Heidi going to work in the house when Clara gets sick.

The story of Heidi has been remade many times for both TV and for the big screen.

I own the DVDs of both series! I would love to visit Switzerland (and maybe meet Goat Peter'!) Jules, you're very lucky!

I now live in Switzerland and I know the guy who played Peter the Goat Herd. He's a really nice guy called Stefan who is the most amazing skier I've ever seen! Think he lives in Montreux but skis in my village. He doesn't know what happened to curly blone Heidi though!

I loved it it was on around teatime on schooldays...it had a theme tune that is still stuck in my head and really bad dubbing!
