Human League

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

The Human League were one of the first synth-pop bands of the eighties and had some huge hits such as "Love Action", "Open Your Heart" and perhaps their most famous song "Don't You Want Me".

The Human League comprised Martyn Ware, Ian Craig Marsh, Phil Oakey and Adrian Wright.

Apparently they got their name from characters in a sci-fi board game that they were all addicted to.

Loved the League. Gutted I never saw them perform. Me & sis used to dress up as the girls (though my bro' could never quite pull off the Oakey fringe!!)

Thought Phil Oakey was lovely, went to see them in Glasgow last year and he's still lovely. Sounded as good now as they did then!
