Ice Cream Dolls were large, with a plastic head and had an ice cream cone around their necks. They stood about 24 inches tall and came either as a boy or a girl.

The girls wore night caps and the boys wore a brown overall outfit with a cap. They were stuffed, with rounded feet and their left hand was held in the position that is the universal sign for 'I love you'. They had yarn hair in pink for the girls. Ice Cream dolls smelt sweet, with a sickenly plastic odour. Their face and hands were made of vinyl but their legs and bodies were soft.

    I bought one of these ice cream dolls for my daughter when she was little, and she loved the doll, and still has it to this very day.Hopefully she will give it to her own daughter to love.

    I use to sleep with my Ice Cream Doll on my bed, she was rather top/head heavy and would headbutt me in the night.

    My grandmother brought me an ice cream doll when I was hospitalized as a child. I named her Aunt because she came from my grandmother and I was about 3 years old at the time. I loved this doll and took her everywhere I went. Now Aunt belongs to my daughter and she loves her and takes her everywhere she goes.

    I had a friend who's cousin wouldn't sleep over any more because she once woke up in the middle of the night and thought the ice cream doll at the bottom of the bed was a real person. They were pretty big for a doll and a bit funny looking, but even at the time I thought this was hilarious.

    One year for Christmas me and all of my girl cousins got one of this dolls. We were all so excited. I remember piercing my dolls ears...lol. I used to have tea parties with her and my sisters doll. We all loved our dolls so much. I wish I still had mine. I do have a picture of it though.

    I had about 4 of these dolls both boys and girls and some were very big and some smaller. I used to take them around to my friend's house to play as she had a large one that was the same as mine. We had so much fun with them. Wish I still had mine!
