Instant Whip

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Like Angel Delight but lighter in texture. Instant Whip was a Sunday teatime treat after we had eaten all our tuna sanwiches.

We always had Instant Whip at cub and scout camp. Whipped up amateurishly with a fork, there were always undissolved bits in it, which I loved. I used to ask my Mum to make sure there were bits in it when she made it home with an electric mixer.

Instant Whip goes far back into the early 60s when my mum gave it to me. When Angel Delight came out we seemed to move onto that, but the original Instant Whip was far superior in my opinion. Or maybe it's just because I associate it with my pre-school years.

Yep, a few token sandwiches then onto the trifle or instant whip. While watching The Muppet Show.
