Well known bass player with Public Image Ltd (PiL) in the 80's, John Joseph Wardle was born in London in 1958.

Jah's music style is varied between Post-punk, Alternative, World music & Dub music.

He has collaborated with the likes of Bjork, Bomb the Bass, Chaka Demus, Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Sinead O'Connor, The Orb, Primal Scream, The Shamen, Holly Valance, John Lyndon & John Simon Ritchie to name a few.

    I thought he was a member of John Lydon's 'Public Image Limited' for some time. He's a big fan of the early 19th Century visionary poet and artist William Blake.
