I think the most enduring memory I have of this song is it kept Ultravox's "Vienna" from reaching #1. A catchy little ditty this tune but should it have kept "Vienna" off the top spot?

"Shaddap You Face" was released in 1980 by Joe Dolce and went straight to the top spot in the Australian pop charts, it also reached number one in the UK charts during 1981.

    Absolutely. 'Shaddup You Face' was a catchy, fun sing-a-long. By contrast, 'Vienna' was a tuneless dirge.
