Johnny Hotshot

So, he didn't quite have the looks to go with it, but Johnny Hotshot often put Roy Of The Rovers to shame with his amazing footballing skills. The game basically comprised a large football player about a foot high, with fully action-kicking legs that you operated by pressing his head. The aim, of course, was to get the ball into the provided goal about two feet wide, which was protected by a big goalie cutout (I think the keeper was Gordon Banks). The winner could be presented with a whopper of a rosette (also provided in the box) - that was the best part for many of us!
