Jonny Briggs was a TV series which ran from 1985 to 1987. The most memorable thing about the show was the theme tune (played on trombone I think).

Jonny Briggs was a boy who lived with his mum, dad, his sister Rita, his brother and their dog "Razzle". His arch-enemies were a pait of twin sisters that were always trying to get him in trouble.

I think it may have been set in Yorkshire / Lancashire judging by the accents.

    bbc1 children program about a boy and his dog his sister was a bit of a punk dad and and sister still on tv now. theme tune had trumpet at the end.

    I used to watch Jonny Briggs after school, the theme tune was ace! I remember Jonny's sister Rita having a pet rabbit and Jonny's brother growing mushrooms. The opening shot showed Johnny sliding down a slide in to the camera. They don't make classics like Jonny Briggs any more*

    I loved this prog. Seem to remember an episode where his brother Humphry was entering an eyebrow wriggling contest....then there was that annoying girl in Johnny?s class who always said "My mum, who?s a nurse..." Can?t beat that theme tune!!
