Jossy's Giants (1986) was a TV series about a hopeless lads' football team knocked into shape by Jossy Blair, an affable Geordie with a fondness for gambling. Only two series were made containing 5 episodes each. In the second series, the boys' attentions turned to girls more.

    It was written by Sid Waddell the Darts commentator. I remember an episode they played some Italian team and their strips had turned pink in the washing machine. Class

    Remember an episode with Bryan Robson appearing - he couldn't act for toffee!!! And the football scenes were so contrived!! Was compulsive viewing tho
