Began recording in 1975, after being discovered by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour. The distinctive "Wuthering Heights" was her first hit (#1), and though her output has not been prolific, she has always been an interesting and innovative artist.

    My ex-boyfriend used to fancy the pants off Ms Bush! I thought she was an excellent musician. Trouble is, you'd have to wait ages for an album, then (thankfully) a real corker would be released. Never afraid to try a new direction, our Kate.
