Everyday, Mumfie the elephant would run to his post box hoping to find an adventure in a parcel... until he realised adventures don't come neatly wrapped. He decides to venture into the woods, which was a good thing as he met his first friends there - the Scarecrow and Pinkey the flying pig.
The original Mumfie was a puppet in the 70s shows, but later turned into a cartoon (just like Muffin the Mule) until its demise in 1999.
