AAARRRGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Thats how Metallica make me feel. And in good way, not a bad one. I was given Ride the Lightening as a 16th birthday prezzie by a school mate. He knew I was quite into Iron Maiden, and thought he'd try to get me "onto the heavier stuff." I loved it, and still do - the main tape in my car at present is the black album. Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, Of Wolf and Man, Sad But True... Crikey, I could go on for days naming ace songs by them...

    I hated their song 'One', which was about an injured soldier who'd been left horrifically wounded by a landmine- limbless, blind, deaf and goodness knows what else. The video for it was even worse- nasty, who the hell would want to write about stuff like that?! 'Sandman' was good though.

    These boys were the next generation of heavy music, when I started listening to them when I was 8. I was an outcast at school because 'I liked Metallica'. Funny how, in the coming years, they became MASSIVLY POPULAR at school (thanks to the black album) and those girlies who wore pink started wearing black...

    once they were such alchohalics that they joked about changing the name to Alchohalica... Dave Mustane of Megadeth Used to be in Metallica but left with a big head...
