Old Gey Whistle Test was the best ever music show. Presented by "Whispering" Bob Harris, it had a really cool theme tune accompanied by a graphic made of stars which looked like a man kicking a football.

The show ran for a very long time and featured so many well known artists it would be impossible to list them. It gave many bands their first break. Sadly missed.

    Wasn't it also hosted by Anne Nightingale? And yes, it was a terrific off-the-curve music show that completely piddled all over the rather naff Top of the Pops
