This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Outer Spacers crisps were like a 70's version of the 'Space Raiders' 10p crisps kids get nowadays. I remember beer flavoured spaceship things, pickled onion space stations and one that was mango chutney flavour and the beef ones turned your fingers orange!

    These were great. I remember them being quite hard and made your fingers stink of the flavouring :-)

    Loved the Outer Spacers in the late 70s, all the flavours were nice, especially the cross-shaped chutney ones. Then in the early 80s they were renamed Alien Spacers and the crisps became coloured.

    my favourite were the chutney outer spaces and also remember getting bacon and bean flavour piglets and cheesy football crazy crisps :-)

    They were 5p! Picked onion, salt and vinger and a beefy one. Great packaging!

    Does anyone remember when you could send off for a die cast model of the ships? I sent off but it never arrived...broke my heart...ha ha

    The pickled onion ones were green on the packet, the beef orangey-red and the mango chutney were yellow - they were the best flavour by a mile :-)

    I remember the mango chuntey flavour, they were cross shaped and tasted great. Doritos new Chilli flavour is quite close. And my friends used to do the leg snap thing on the beef flavour also. Oh old memories eh.
