P J Sparkles was a cute little doll made by Mattel in the late 80s who sparkled when hugged thanks to a 9v battery in her back.
P J SParkles had little lights in her bracelet, hair bow, earrings and a little heart on her chest.

I don't remember ever seeing the P.J. Sparkles movie but for as long as I can remember I have had this pink bunny ( her eye-lashes , and the stars on her body glow in the dark ) and I used to take her to school for show-and-tell and all my friends thought it was soooo cool. Here I am 20 years old, and a mother of a little boy and I still sleep with her. My boyfriend gets jealous and throws her on the floor.

I still have mine! I got it for Christmas when I was maybe 4 (17 years ago). Lost the dress a long time ago - never knew it was from a movie!

I think I remember the advert wasn't there a doll like this one that instead of lighting up u had a wand thing that had a sponge thing on the end and with water you could but the make up on the doll???

omg.. pj sparkles was my favorite doll i love it so much .. i wish i still had mine...they have some on ebay but its not the same i wish i could find a brand new one... pj sparkles light up the night for me ...

I can still remember when I was five yesrs old and I watched P.J. Sparkles. All I would ever do was watch the movies and play with that littlt doll. I loved the dolls and the movies. I'm 17 and to this day I still talk about the movies when me and my friends are bringing up old shows and movies that we used to watch. Does anyone know where I can find the tapes???

I have a PJ sparkles doll that is soft and i have her movie im only 16 and i have had her sence i was 2 years old.Me and my little sister watchs that movie like every other day. I lost her orignal offit when i move so now i have a different offit on her. But she has the heart that lights up and the same battery she had in it when i got it in there now and it still shines just as bright.
