Action Girl was made by Palitoy in the 1970s. She had a much more realistic figure than either Barbie or Sindy and lots of poseable joints. Mine had long brown hair and came wearing a pale blue catsuit whilst my sister's was a redhead and wore the same catsuit in bright pink. They had a large wardrobe of clothes, some of which I saved to buy, some my mum made and lots that I improvised from scraps of fabric. They had lots of adventures, often with our brother's Action Man at their side.

    I had a dark haired one and a blonde haired one ... I wish I knew where they went ... Noone I know has heard of them and I spent many hours playing with them ....

      I had a blonde one with all moving joints. I loved her and none of my friends know what I mean. I agree, she was way better than barbie.
