Penelope Pitstop was an heiress from the American South. Her guardian, one Sylvester Sneakley was secretly the Hooded Claw, intent on bumping her off so that her could inherit her fortune. The claw and his sidekicks, the Bully brothers tried a different convoluted scheme to finish off Penelope every episode, but she was always saved by her guardians, the Anthill Mod and their talking car - Chuggaboom. Paul Lynde provided the voice of the Hooded Claw and he was brilliant.

    I used to love this!! My cousin and I used to play this outside! She ws always Penelope and shouted 'Heeyyelp' while I chased her being the Hooded Claw shouting 'I'm gonna get you Penelope'!!! She was 8 and I was 4 at the time!!!
