I couldn't remember who the manufacturer of these were, but online it seems that it was Jacobs. I seem to renember a light orangey box they came in but a picture online shows a blue box, I may have forgotten that bit. I remember my mum used to buy these regularly and I absolutely loved them sliced in half with butter on. This is yet another product I recall but have no idea when they stopped being produced. It would be nice to have them back as there is nothing remotely like them around nowadays.
