I remember first hearing Pulp on John Peel's show on Radio 1 in the early 90s, playing "Lipgloss". I liked their individual sound then and I still do now.

Pulp played classic thumping tunes such as "Disco 2000" and "Common People", always guaranteed a sing-along.

Hats off to frontman Jarvis Cocker for mooning on stage at Michael Jackson's pseudo-Messianic stage performance of Earthsong.

    I remember when somebody threw a pair of knickers at Jarvis during Pulp's Wembley Arena gig in '96, to which Jarvis simply replied 'a pair of knickers, why thank-you very much'. Great show!
