Q*Bert was incredibly popular for a while, originally an arcade video game where you climbed a tower of blocks where each block would change color when you landed on them. The object of the game was to color all the blocks without getting killed by Hiss or his minions. Q*Bert was so popular, it spun off into a series of home video games, for the Atari 2600, Atari 5200 and Nintendo to name a few. There was also a Parker Brothers board game, and correct me if I'm wrong, a Saturday morning cartoon.
