If you buy a compilation cd, IF Queen are on it, why are they ALWAYS track 1?
Could it be because... they're the best thing the UK has ever produced? (If you forget the fact that Freddie M was originally from South Africa, obviously.)
Queen consisted of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. Together, they penned many tunes that still sound exceptional to this day.
They were excellent at vocal harmonies, and the majority of their songs used vocal harmonies as kind-of-a trademark sound.
Personal fave tracks are "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon", "Keep Yourself Alive", "Innuendo" and "Invisible Man".
Any group capable of releasing 3 greatest hits albums MUST have quite a good repertoire, eh?
