Well, I remember the Raleigh Bluebird had chunky white tyres with that chain-link pattern on them. Blue frame and stabilizers and a little bell on the handlebar. It also had one of those attached, plastic carry case things above the rear wheel. It was creamy/white with a picture of a Bluebird on it. The Raleigh Bluebird was my very first bike and I was very fond of it. I can't find a photo of one though. The closest I've found is in a classified ad, but it didn't have the carry case on it.

    THERE IS ONE FOR SALE ON EBAY WITH BACK BOX AND STABILISERS. LOOKS IN GOOD CONDITION AND WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO CHARITY.

    Just bought one from our recycling centre, alas no carrier, but dont think our grandson will mind about this. As you say chunky white tyres, we need new ones as they r a bit perished. Just needs some stabilisers then fit to go, bit of a clean up as well.

    Yeah, I had one of them! I loved it! I used to carry my Barbies around in the little cream plastic carry case. I was teased by another girl in the street who had a BMX but I was perfectly happy with my Bluebird. :)
