Secret Valley was an Australian childrens TV series from 1980 about a group of kids who ran a holiday camp in Bildarra called 'Secret Valley'. The kids had to contend with a rival gang, led by Spider McGlurk, as well as Councillor Claude Cribbin who wanted to shut down Secret Valley.

As I remember, there was a bungling idiot with a bike who always ended up worst off.

    Yes, and the very cool periscope they had in their gang's hideout.

    Best TV show ever that I remember from my childhood. I am trying to track down a copy of the TV movie that was made. I remember the little Honda Minitrail bikes they all used to scoot around on. Once they had a race and Spider Mcglurks gang was out to sabotage it by laying down spikes on the trail. The secret valley kids were too clever, installing a big magnet on the front of there bikes to pick up the spikes before puncturing a tyre. I am interested to hear other peoples recolections!
