Sew-Easy

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Made for girls, Sew-Easy was a plastic, kid's sewing machine that used thick wool. It looked like a real sewing machine and came with templates with big holes in them that you could "sew".

I think I got this for Christmas when I was four-years-old, but if I did, I only had it very briefly because my parents exchanged it for another sewing maching.

wow this was my fisrt sewing machine EVER! my grandmother used to make our clothes when we were little and i was so impressed on how she did it. when she saw this in the store she got it for me to learn off of. realizing sewing wasn't as easy as it looked i gained a new appreciation for her and her craft. although the items never looked like what you wanted, i just loved the fact that this was my first machine and wished i kept it for the memories of my grandma alone and for myself as well for a great learning experience it taught me. i have a new sewing machine today and still i could never ever sew like grandma did, boy do i miss her and this machine.
