This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Sid James was a staple of British TV and film through the 60's and 70's, nearly all of them Carry On or Carry On types. Most famous for his dirty laugh. I do not know how to spell it out though!

    I can remember hearing on the news about his death on Monday the 26th of April 1976, I was only 6 at the time and I remember him being them showing a clip of an interview, I thought he was talking about his own death!, silly me!.

    Sid was born in South Africa, he also played straight man to Tony Hancock amongst others.
