Smartie people are happy people, they smile all the time because they're feeling fine, because it's Smartie time. Smartie people make funny faces, clap their hands, they're Smartie fans you know the taste is grand, we're all living in Smartie land, ba doo doo n doo doo doooo, Smaarrartiieees.

Do You Remember Smarties?

The blue Smartie was introduced sometime in my young childhood, so late Eighties? I think it replaced the light brown one. I remember being oddly excited by this. When we went to Italy when I was a kid, the main thing I noticed (didn't notice landmarks, history or anything like that) was that the Smarties tube had a different design!
