Produced by Mattel, The Strange Change Machine, Featuring The Lost World was a popular game from the 1960's.
Basically, this game was a hot plate with a plastic cover. You plugged it in and the inner plate (Expansion Chamber) heated up. You then placed one of the plastic pieces called arthropods inside, this would soften with the heat. You then used the blue plastic tongs to pull it out and place it in the front chamber, finally, you cranked the circular handle until the plastic reappeared in the shape of prehistoric animals and science-fiction creatures.
