What can I say about Suzanne Vega - she brings back so many memories of a different life. Her voice is amazing and she sounds exactly the same live.

She is still making records but mainly in USA.

    Amazing songstress- I have a copy of the 'Solitude Standing' album on cassette, some of the songs on it are just beautiful. Easily equal to Joni Mitchell. The song 'Tom's Diner' was originally done as an unaccompanied vocal piece- the version that charted in 1990 was backed by the band DNA, although I don't think it ever featured on any of her albums.
