The Dinosaur Show was conceived by the Muppet masters at Jim Henson Productions, who wanted to do a sitcom-style show with puppets. It featured an entire family made up of dinosaurs. Henson Productions offshoot The Creature Shop then developed huge, lifelike puppets... I think there was a Triceratops who wore a pink tutu, a running T-Rex and a nasty pterodactyl.
